Anya Schumacher-Knight

BSc(Hons), Ost DO

Anya graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in England in 2002, and moved to New Zealand five weeks later. 

Anya worked at the Twig Centre in Lower Hutt for two-and-a-half years before moving to Auckland. There, she lectured on osteopathic principles, and tutored the fourth year students in the teaching clinic of the Masters in Osteopathy course at Unitec from 2005 to 2008 before moving back to Wellington, and starting work at Kilbirnie Osteopaths were she worked for 13 years as a practitioner and director alongside Catherine Gollan.

Anya utilises all treatment modalities osteopathy has to offer – from manipulation through to cranial work.

She has completed all IX phases of the Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy training, and incorporates all this knowledge to enhance her practice.

Anya is a passionate osteopath who enjoys treating all ages, with a special focus on cranial and biodynamic osteopathy.
